“Our mission is to enhance the growth and development of business and the quality of life in our community, by helping to keep our membership informed, connected and prosperous.”

The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1948 to serve the business communities of Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo and, originally, San Ramon. Today San Ramon has their own Chamber but the cooperative spirit is still alive.

The Chamber is comprised of 4 professional staff, a 15 member Board of Directors and approximately 600 business, non-profit and service organizations. We are here to serve our members through education, promotion and advocacy. We have a myriad of business events including monthly mixers, seminars, business by referral leads groups and special annual networking events. We realize that your primary focus is to run your business – so while you work hard at your job, we work hard at ours. Our job is to promote you in the community and to uncover ways to help you to meet your business goals. We don’t expect you to have the time to attend all of our events. Trust that we have many ways that we bring value to your membership whether or not you can attend an event or class. Our organization prides itself on being fun, energetic and welcoming to all. Each year, for the benefit and enjoyment of the entire community, the Chamber sponsors and organizes two annual Arts and Crafts Fairs, and the annual Holiday Tree Lighting. These events offer opportunities for the residents and business community to work together to foster and promote a cooperative community spirit.
