Celebrate the 50th Annual Lighting of the Old Oak Tree!

November 27, 2026 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Kick off the holiday season with one of Danville’s most cherished traditions! Join us for the 50th Lighting of the Old Oak Tree, a magical evening filled with holiday cheer, community spirit, and festive fun in the heart of downtown Danville.

Gather family and friends as we celebrate this special golden anniversary and watch the Old Oak Tree light up the night, officially welcoming the holiday season to Danville!

Enjoy holiday classics by the Danville Girls Chorus, the Monte Vista High School Chamber Singers & San Ramon High School Chamber Singers followed by Father Christmas and the Snow Angel greeting the crowd and bringing some magic. Then follow the procession down Diablo Road and through downtown to the festivities, entertainment and holiday treats.
