AMBASSADORS
The Danville Area Chamber Ambassadors are the public relations arm of the Chamber of Commerce. They help members feel welcome, provide introductions for new and existing members at public gatherings and networking meetings, engage with new businesses in the community, advocate to support the Chamber’s goals, and get people involved in Chamber functions. Their role is invaluable in increasing the value of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce to its members.

Scott Bigelow
Ambassadors Chair – Scott’s Wine Taste, Owner
Scott’s Wine Taste brings award-winning wines and tasting rooms from historic California and French wineries directly to you and your clients through one-of-a-kind tasting experiences – transforming Living Rooms, Board Rooms or computer screens into Wine Tasting Rooms. His mission is to change the way people taste, experience, enjoy and buy wine. Planning a corporate event or client party? Add some Wine Edutainment to the festivities with Scott as your Sommelier. Scott’s Wine Taste also offers employee and client recognition gifts with custom label wines and etched bottles all while sharing an ongoing passion for wine and the wine lifestyle.
Bob Landy
RNL Enterprises, Owner
Bob provides organic nutritional supplements to maintain and improve your health. Working with Nutrilite, a company that produces products from in ground seed to finished certified organic products, Bob is an advocate for the vitamins and dietary supplements. He has been an Ambassador with the chamber since 2002 and has truly enjoyed all the benefits of membership by being an active member. As an Ambassador, Bob makes himself available to all businesses for any help regarding the chamber.
Christine Raymond
Christine’s background and expertise is in marketing and community building. She graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and has a graduate certificate for organizational psychology from Colorado State University. Christine has worked in service/ad agency, corporate, and non-profit sectors, and also owns a freelance consulting and project management business. She grew up in Indianapolis, lived in Connecticut for 20+ years, and now calls the East Bay home.
Christine owns Greet Lafayette and BeLocal Lamorinda & Diablo. Greet is a social and engagement platform for Lafayette residents and participating businesses. BeLocal is a print and web-based new movers’ guide that welcomes and connects new homeowners (distribution from Orinda to Blackhawk). In addition to being an ambassador for the Danville Area Chamber, she also sits on the Lafayette Chamber board, is a member of the Walnut Creek Chamber, a 2024 graduate of the Leadership Contra Costa program, and a board member for the Community Foundation of Lafayette.
Donna Piper
Old Republic Title
Over the years, Donna held positions as a Real Estate Agent, Loan Officer, Underwriter, Funder and Wholesale Lender. She added Account Executive to her resume when she joined Old Republic Title in 2013.
She is passionate about training real estate agents on a variety of title and escrow matters. As an industry veteran, Donna is focused on exceeding her clients’ expectations.
When she’s not out networking, Donna loves traveling, shopping, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.
Elaine Betts

Elaine Betts is a powerhouse business coach and international speaker, known as the leader of leaders. After arriving in America from England in 1996 with no connections, she built a thriving coaching and consulting business from the ground up. She is the founder of GO FAR Consulting LLC. She created The Strategic 4Ms which is a tactical and innovative strategy model designed to advance professionals and their team’s success.
She is renowned for her time management skills and her ability to teach others these skills. Elaine is a New York Times Best Selling contributing author, Master Presenter, Certified Voice Coach, and Poet Laureate for the Town of Danville. Elaine brings unique skills of vocal techniques, project management and time management expertise to elevate leadership and sales performance enabling businesses to thrive and expand. She recently released a children’s music album and two children’s books.
Elaine also championed AssemblyResolution 323, officially recognizing International Networking Week in California. Her mission is to empower others to succeed through connection, strategy, and personal growth.

What Kim has gone through in her personal life, helps her personally understand being overwhelmed and the depression her clients and loved ones go through when they feel hopeless. She has experienced many deaths in her life, including the unexpected loss of her best friend of 25 years, she is her own caretaker to her senior parents, and her mother has been in and out of the hospital for the past 10 years for Monomania Tremors, Dystonia, her two brain surgery’s and for the pacemaker in her heart. It is these experiences that have helped shape Kim into the kind of caregiver to help her clients during their difficult times. By anticipating their needs and what they will be going through, Kim is able to offer hope, advice, and emotional support to help make them see the light at the end of the tunnel. Klara Bleier
Klara Bleier, a proud Danville native, has roots deeply embedded in her community. Her educational journey took her through Green Valley Elementary School, Los Cerros Middle School, and Monte Vista High School, where she met her husband of 18 years, Jason Bleier. Klara earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Professionally, Klara is a Sales Account Executive at Old Republic Title in Danville. Her career path is diverse, having previously owned and operated a successful Asian-fusion catering boutique, which gained popularity for catering events across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Klara is passionate about education and actively contributes to her community as the President of The Blackhawk Scholarship Fund (BSF). This local, volunteer-run non-profit, established in 2003, is dedicated to supporting exceptional young women in Contra Costa County in achieving their higher education dreams. BSF has awarded over $460,000 in scholarships to deserving women in financial need.
In her personal life, Klara enjoys skiing with her husband in the winter, traveling in the summer, enjoying fine food, attending music festivals, and cherishing moments with family, friends, and her beloved Corgi, Sir.
Lara George
I Can Do That! Performing Arts Center, Marketing Manager
For over 18 years, Lara George has been a professional photographer in the Bay Area, and for more than two decades, an active and involved Danville resident. She serves as one of the Town of Danville’s primary photographers and as an Ambassador for the Danville Chamber, working closely with the Town, Mayor, and council members to support local businesses and capture the spirit of Danville through imagery.
Lara is also proud to be the Marketing Manager at ICDT!, where she brings her creative eye and marketing experience to help elevate and share the organization’s story with the community she cares so deeply about.
Melonie Pederson

Melonie Pederson, a long-time East Bay resident and experienced entrepreneur with over 25 years of small business ownership, launched Let It Glow Rentals to meet the growing demand for modern, elegant lighting that will add personality and polish to celebrations and corporate events. From bold statements to beautiful backdrops, her LED marquee rentals are designed to elevate any space and create unforgettable moments.
Melonie is passionate about community connection and supporting local businesses and was named “Ambassador of the Year” in 2025.
When Melonie isn’t lighting up the world, you can find her spending time with her husband of 25 years, Andy, walking the company mascots—her two beloved boxers, Stevie and Joey—or visiting her college-aged daughters.

In March of 2020, Steve and his partners pivoted from their relationship with a national direct mail advertising company and developed what is now Trending Now Tri Valley. They focus on 3 different areas of advertising.
1. A direct mail piece that focuses on quality local advertising content for local businesses looking to grow mind/market-share. We mail to over 190,000 homes throughout the tri/diablo valley areas of the SF East Bay.
2. A birthday/new mover direct mailer program focused on inviting consumers who are either new to the area, or having an upcoming birthday to personally use their business. A personal invitation mailed directly to the consumer by name is the secret sauce.
3. Digital Search based advertising focusing on Google to connect those who are searching for your business with paid for Google Ads.

Val Howard operates a Famers Insurance Agency in downtown Danville. She and her team are committed to helping customers understand their coverage options so they can make informed decisions for their family and situation. Her office provides a wide range of insurance products including home, auto, umbrella, business and life insurance.
Val resides in Alamo with her husband Gene and has twins in college.
