Our Board of Directors is a team of people elected by the Chamber shareholders, the Membership, to represent their interests and ensure that the Chamber is a catalyst, convener and champion on their behalf.

Uday Kumar, 2025 Board Chair
Batter ‘N Icing – Danville
Uday Kumar is a senior business consulting executive with proven experience leading teams across large-scale, high-value programs and initiatives. During a career spanning 20+ years, he has worked in countries across North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Australia delivering results across diverse industries, with a specific focus on professional services, systems consulting, and solutions delivery. He specializes in crafting solutions by integrating technology, people, process and bringing in new business as a face of the company.
In 2016, Uday and his wife Nisha decided to become entrepreneurs combining their skills. Nisha who loves to experiment with flavors in the kitchen and Uday with his business experience decided to open Smallcakes in Danville which as a licensee allowed Nisha to experiment flavors, products. It also provided them an outlet to give back to the community they love by donating to first responders, nurses, teachers and homeless shelters in the area. Uday has been engaged with philanthropic activities in India working with NGOs to help orphans, fishermen and others in need.
Uday earned his Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut and has a Bachelors in Engineering degree from Mysore University in India. Uday lived in Michigan, Connecticut before moving to San Ramon 14 years ago with his wife. He enjoys the outdoors, travelling, trying new cuisines, loves gardening, hanging out with his wife and their two kids and friends.

Glenn Novotny, 2026 Chair-Elect
Founder of Glennhawk Vineyards and Emerald Pet Products, Managing Director of GMMR,LLC
Glenn Novotny is the Founder and Owner of Glennhawk Vineyards and Emerald Pet Products as well as the Managing Director of GMMR,LLC, a real estate developmerrt organization based in Danville, CA. He is also on the Board of Directors of Bay Alarm. He currently consults with founders and businesses interested in either selling or buying businesses.
Glenn worked at Central Garden & Pet (NASDAQ – CENT) for 17 years; as President and COO from 1990 to 2003 and CEO from 2003 through 2007. Glenn was instrumental in taking Central public in 1993 and growing it from sales of $200 million to $1.7 billion through organic growth and over 40 acquisitions to create the largest pet supply and second largest garden supply company in the U.S. He also worked at Weyerhaeuser Corporation from 1970 to 1990 in a variety of operating, strategic planning, sales and executive management roles. He served as CEO of Weyerhaeuser Garden Supply from
1988 to 1990.
Glenn has served on numerous public and private boards of directors and has significant entrepreneurial experience. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of Central Garden & Pet, Pet Food Express, VeriTainer Corp., AngioScore, Ditan Corporation, Confirma, Freedom Innovations, Nexus BioSystems, Trupanion Pet Insurance, Reeb Millwork, Radio Systems, Edge Systems (HydroFacial), and Bay Alarm. He also has significant experience in Mergers and Acquisitions in several industries and completed over 75 transactions in his career. He also was an Operating Partner at Telegraph Hill Partners, a San Francisco based private equity firm, investing in medical devices, life sciences, and healthcare companies from 2008-2015. G1enn received a BA from Chadron State College in Nebraska and graduated from the Harvard Business School Program for Executive Management Development.

Tim Argenti, Finance Chair
Republic Services
Tim Argenti is the President of Argenti & Associates, a consulting services company. Previous to forming Argenti & Associates, Tim served as Community Relations Manager for Republic Services.
He previously served as Past Chair of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce. Due to his extensive community relations and government affairs experience, he has served on several East Bay Chamber Boards of Directors, both as Chair and as Director, and currently serves as Chair of Meals on Wheels Diablo Region.

Dave Fong, Chair, Economic Vitality & Government Affairs
Dave has over 40 years of retail experience with two of the larger grocery and drug store companies in the U.S. Dave’s career included serving as the Senior Vice President of Pharmacy/ Health and Wellness for Safeway U.S. and Canada, and Senior Vice President Pharmacy for Longs Drug Stores. In 2018, Dave joined Nurx, a digital health care start up and spearheaded a number of successful pharmacy business initiatives. . Currently, Dave is the President and CEO of Dave Fong Rx Consulting Services leveraging his knowledge, experience, and broad network of industry relationships to support the successes of pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and technology companies.
Dave has served on a number of pharmacy advisory boards for industry, academia, and energy, including time as a governor appointed member of the California State Board of Pharmacy.
Dave has represented the Danville community as a Commissioner, Councilmember, and Vice Mayor. During his time, Dave actively partnered with the Council, Town Staff, small businesses, and the community, supporting a legacy of dedicated service. Dave’s primary contributions include the ability to bring people together, make meaningful progress, and demonstrate to the community the power of collaboration, the importance of listening, and the value of acting boldly in the face of challenges.
Dave Fong graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics, and University of California, San Francisco with a Doctor of Pharmacy. Dave and his wife, Louise, reside as “empty nesters” and enjoy all that Danville offers; yet travel often to visit their children and grandkids in Hong Kong and Denver respectively.
In his free time, Dave is an avid social cyclist, golfer, and “Blue and Gold” supporter of his UC Berkeley Bears. “ GO BEARS”!!

Klara Bleier, 2025 Ambassador Liaison to the Board
Klara Bleier, a proud Danville native, has roots deeply embedded in her community. Her educational journey took her through Green Valley Elementary School, Los Cerros Middle School, and Monte Vista High School, where she met her husband of 18 years, Jason Bleier. Klara earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Professionally, Klara is a Sales Account Executive at Old Republic Title in Danville. Her career path is diverse, having previously owned and operated a successful Asian-fusion catering boutique, which gained popularity for catering events across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Klara is passionate about education and actively contributes to her community as the President of The Blackhawk Scholarship Fund (BSF). This local, volunteer-run non-profit, established in 2003, is dedicated to supporting exceptional young women in Contra Costa County in achieving their higher education dreams. BSF has awarded over $460,000 in scholarships to deserving women in financial need.
In her personal life, Klara enjoys skiing with her husband in the winter, traveling in the summer, enjoying fine food, attending music festivals, and cherishing moments with family, friends, and her beloved Corgi, Sir.

David Behring, Board Member
The Wheelchair Foundation
David has served as President of the Wheelchair Foundation since 2003. The Wheelchair Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to deliver a wheelchair to every child, teen and adult who needs one, but cannot afford to buy one. To date the organization has provided over 1,200,000 wheelchairs to people in 156 countries. Prior to that, he was President of the Blackhawk Museum and later spearheaded “The Spirit of the Old West” Gallery. From 1993-1997 David was President of the Seattle Seahawks and was in the local homebuilding and land development professions before that period.
David has always been active in community service and has been a Rotarian for over 20 years, belongs to the Exchange Club of the San Ramon Valley and the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, has served as President of the All-Wars Memorial and is a longtime Board Member of Leadership San Ramon Valley.
A graduate of Princeton’s history department, he has always loved history and served for 6 years on the Boards of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and National History Day. David has been active with WWII veterans and is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Vietnam Veterans of Diablo Valley. David has traveled extensively around the world and enjoys visiting military and historical sites. David has lived in Danville since 1980, is married to May and has a 26- year- old married daughter living in Texas and a 22- year- old son attending Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Keva Dodd, Board Member
Whim House
Keva Dodd is the owner of Whim House, a specialty brick and mortar and online retail store, of carefully curated home, garden and gift items from artisans and makers from around the world. Keva has operated her Danville store for over 8 years. Previously, she owned an outside sales and marketing organization for 25 years selling internationally distributed home furnishing and gift collections throughout the west coast.
Keva is a graduate of the University of Oregon, School of Journalism. Married with 2 adult children, she has been a Danville resident for over 30 years.

Steve Glaski, 2024 Board Member
Vice President, Relationship Manager, Heritage Bank of Commerce
Steve Glaski is Vice President, Relationship Manager for Heritage Bank of Commerce in Danville, where he delivers strategic financial solutions and ideas to help local companies grow, improve cash flow, and invest in their future.
Steve has been in the community helping local companies with their business banking needs for over 16 years. He grew up in Danville and graduated from University of California Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Economics.
Steve currently lives in San Ramon with his wife Kelly and enjoys playing guitar, golf, baseball, and snow sports in his spare time.

Kim Lindeberg, Board Member
The Lindeberg Group
My name is Kim Lindeberg. I am the President of The Lindeberg Group, Inc. located in my home in Danville. As of December 31, 2019, I am officially retired from Telecom after 46 years.
I joined the Chamber in 2004 when I opened a retail store with a friend in the heart of downtown Danville. In 2005 I was Ambassador of the Quarter and in 2006 I was Ambassador Chair and in 2011 I was Chairman of the Board of the Chamber. I love this community and have lived in Danville since 1983. I am very happy to be serving again on the Board of Directors and I look forward to engaging in our many events throughout the year.

Randy Negi, Board Member
Randy Negi is a longtime restauranteur who has owned and operated several different concepts over the last 37 years. He currently owns Bridges Restaurant, The Vine & Spirits and is a Co-owner of Danville Brewing. Outside of Danville, he also has four Cafes in San Francisco.
The restaurant business has been his focus from a very early age, first as a busser to ultimately an owner and every position in between. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a BA in Hospitality Management.
He has been a part of the Danville business community since 2004. He is passionate about his restaurants and to leading his teams to provide the best hospitality and dining experience possible.
Randy has lived in Danville for 27 years with his wife, Colleen and 3 grown children. He is excited to be a new chamber board member and looks forward to supporting the town he loves and calls home.

Jerry North, 2024 Board Member
Stanford Health Care – Tri-Valley
Jerry North serves as the seasoned Vice President of Operations at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, overseeing a myriad of sectors strategic to the facility’s function. With the executive lead for over $500M+ in capital investments, Jerry is instrumental in the organization’s economic growth.
Boasting 29 years in the healthcare field, his journey began in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, reflecting a longstanding commitment to healthcare. His educational achievements include an MBA from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management. Key certifications as a Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM), Healthcare Constructor (CHC), and Healthcare Operations Professional (CHOP) mark him as a leader in the industry.
On a personal note, Jerry shares a harmonious marriage with Kathryn North and is a proud father to their five children. Nothing brings him more joy or pride than his family, a sentiment that also embodies his compassionate leadership approach. Jerry’s unique blend of experience and leadership skills make him an asset to Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley and the healthcare field at large.

Shayna Ronan, Board Member
Founder, I Can Do That Performing Arts Center
Shayna Ronan is a native of Walnut Creek and discovered theater at the age of 9 under the direction of Edward Belasco in the Belasco Theater Company.
Over the next ten years, she performed locally with numerous theater companies and trained with The Ballet School, Lawrence Pech and private vocal instructor Lucia Scardigno. She moved to New York in 2001 and graduated with a degree in Psychology, Linguistics, and Philosophy from New York University.
Shayna is a proud mother of two young boys who teach her every day how to be curious, bold, and full of humor. She is overjoyed to be bringing her love of theatre to a new generation of performers and to provide the Bay Area with some OUTSTANDING musical theatre!!

Jason Bliss, Board Member

Stephanie Nava, Board Member
Stephanie Nava is the Director of FOR the Valley, a movement dedicated to serving the community in meaningful ways to create lasting impact. Launched over six years ago by Community Presbyterian Church, the initiative has grown to nearly 400 volunteers, ready to support local efforts and make a difference.
With a life long career in the nonprofit sector, Stephanie is passionate about helping people discover their purpose and connecting them with opportunities to serve. In addition to her community work, she has been a private music instructor for over 30 years, preparing children to shine on stage.
A Danville resident since 2018, Stephanie lives with her four children and is excited to serve as a chamber board member. She looks forward to bringing her enthusiasm for volunteerism and community engagement to the team.
