One of the highlights each year for the Danville Area Chamber is its State of the Town and Community Awards. This year’s ceremony took place virtually on Zoom as well as in-person at the Veterans Memorial Building. Master of Ceremonies Mike Copeland of Alive Magazine had the perfect mix of comic timing and professional vision to keep the program moving and fun.
But that’s not all! Mayor Renee Morgan demonstrated her creativity and flair with a five-minute music video, complete with dance moves from Town Councilmembers and cameo appearances from local businesses in Danville.
We want to congratulate our Community Awards Winners. These businesses and leaders represent the mothers, fathers, shop owners and citizens who fought to make it through the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
