DANVILLE, CA — Danville’s iconic Lighting of the Old Oak Tree will take place Friday, Nov. 24, the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce announced.
The 47th annual lighting will begin at 5 p.m. near the Old Oak Tree on Diablo Road. The lighting will also feature performances from the Danville Girls Chorus, and the choirs from San Ramon Valley High School and Monte Vista High School. At 6:30, Santa and the Snow Angel plan to stop by. Mayor Robert Storer and all members of the Danville Town Council will also be present.
Guests are then invited to stroll around the twinkling lights of Downtown Danville, where they can enjoy more singing from the choirs of the Community Presbyterian Church and the Messiah Lutheran Church, and Impulse Acapella.
