The Annual Lighting of the Old Oak Tree

Joy & Bliss You Won’t Want to Miss!

Friday, November 25

DANVILLE, CA – November 17, 2022. The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce invites residents, family, and friends to our annual community tradition. Our annual Lighting of the Old Oak Tree, a traditional holiday favorite will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022, rain or shine, in Historic Downtown Danville.

The evening program starts at 5:15 PM near the Old Oak Tree on Diablo Road, between West El Pintado and HWY 680.

“We are proud to once again partner with the Town of Danville to offer the community a chance to congregate downtown and help us kick-off the Holiday Shopping Season. We will have our traditional performances by the Danville Girls Chorus, San Ramon Valley High School Choir and Monte Vista Chamber Singers, followed by holiday greetings from Chamber Leadership, the Mayor and Town Council, and the much-anticipated arrival of Father Christmas and the Snow Angel, who will countdown to the lighting of the tree around 6:30 PM.”

The public is encouraged to join us for a downtown stroll with live entertainment, festive lighting, and decorated storefronts and restaurants. It’s Joy and Bliss You Won’t Want to Miss!

Local businesses and restaurant owners will be available to help with every gift need and culinary delight. It’s a fun night on the Town with family and friends and a great opportunity to start your holidays shopping local in Historic Downtown Danville.

Copies of the Danville Picks Holiday Gift Guide, featuring gift ideas unique to Danville will be available at participating stores and our digital guide is available to you 24 / 7 online.
