The luncheon at the Blackhawk Museum will feature a panel discussion with all 5 Tri-Valley mayors, plus a three-course lunch from Postino.
BLACKHAWK, CA — With election season right around the corner, it will be illuminating to hear from all of the Tri-Valley’s mayors. Friday is the final day to register for the Tri-Valley Mayor’s Luncheon at the Blackhawk Museum, which will feature a discussion between Danville Mayor Karen Stepper, San Ramon Mayor Dave Hudson, Dublin Mayor Mike McCorriston, Pleasanton Mayor Karla Brown, and Livermore Mayor John Marchand.
The discussion will be moderated by Catharine Baker, who lives in Dublin and represented District 16 in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2018. Since 2021, she has served on the California Fair Political Practices Commission, the state’s nonpartisan ethics commission.
In addition to the panel discussion and audience Q&A, guests will enjoy a reception and a three-course lunch prepared by Stewart Beatty, the executive chef at Postino in Lafayette. The cost to attend is $85 per person, and the deadline to register is Friday at 5 p.m. The luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 22 from 11:30-1:30 p.m., though a VIP reception and museum tour begins at 10:30 a.m.
