DANVILLE, CA — The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for its Women’s Enterprise Initiative, which mentors women business owners.

The WEI mentors, educates, and trains women business owners and employees on topics relevant to business, including financial planning, project management, marketing, community service, and business governance.

“Our goal is for female entrepreneurs and professionals to gain new skills and connections with community leaders and peers that enable them to thrive in their industries and serve as driving forces of economic growth and diversity in our region,” Danville Area Chamber of Commerce said in a news release.

Despite the name, everyone is welcome to apply for a session.

The WEI is fiscally sponsored by the Three Valleys Community Foundation, and sponsored by a number of local businesses and organizations, including Comerica Bank, Contra Costa County, the Doyle Quane Law Group, Lara George Photography, and the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District.

To sponsor a session or the overall initiative, contact Danville Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Judy Lloyd at 925-837-4400, or ceo@danvilleareachamber.com
